A car can be obtained in the offices of the ETS company located in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Poti and Batumi. In addition, it can be any place convenient for you.

What documents do I need to provide in order to rent a car?

Valid passport/ID and Latin transliterated driving license (issued for at least a year) are required in order to rent a selected vehicle. In addition, the US citizens are required an international driving license.

Is it possible to book an exact make of the car?

Booking in our company applies only to certain groups of cars. Therefore, unfortunately, the exact make is not guaranteed.

How does the car delivery/return process take place ?

The leased vehicle is delivered at the agreed place to you, in a technically efficient, full tank and cleaned condition. By signing the car delivery protocol, you accept the vehicle and start to enjoy your journey.

You are asked to return the vehicle at the agreed place in the same condition it was delivered to you. Our customer care representative will meet you on the site and check the vehicle according to the delivery protocol, taking natural wear and tear into account. Finally, the car reception protocol is signed and we start to wait the day of our next meeting.

Do I need to pay a deposit when renting a car?

The customer has to pay a deposit in a range of 330-400 Gel, depended on the specific model of the vehicle. In this case, the specific amount is blocked/frozen on the credit card provided by the customer

When is the deposit refunded?

In case there is no loss or damage to the leased and returned vehicle, the deposit is refunded within 14-21 business days.

What are the age requirements for the Renter?

The person who rents the car must be at least 21 years old and should have a valid driving license for at least a year.

Do I need to make prepayment when making an online reservation?

No, you can book a vehicle without prepayment, however discount is applied in case of advanced payment. Otherwise, you are only required to pay once the car is delivered to you. In regards of cancellation, we kindly ask our customers to do so at least 48 hours before the car delivery date.

What are the acceptable methods of payment?

Credit card, bank transfer or cash.

Are there any mileage restrictions when renting a vehicle at the ETS Cars?

You can enjoy unlimited mileage with a rented car.

Is it possible to change an already confirmed reservation?

You can change the order online on www.etscars.com or through contacting us. In this case, we will change the reservation based on the submitted request and send you a new order number.

What should I do if I get into a road accident in a rented vehicle?

First of all, it is necessary not to move the car from the scene. Then you are required to contact the road patrol service and ETS cars at the emergency telephones indicated in the Lease Agreement. Finally, you are required to send a message to the direct insurer. You will be provided with the professional help from the competent specialists.

In case the car is seriously damaged and not in the driving condition, it will be replaced.

 

What kind of insurance packages can I use when renting a car at ETS Cars?

We offer three types of insurance packages:

  • Standard insurance.
  • Semi-full insurance.
  • Full insurance.

Are there any restrictions when traveling within the country?

There are no restrictions while traveling through Georgia, however Ushguli, Omalo, Gergeti and Goderdzi are exceptional areas due to their location. Customers willing to drive to these destinations are required to have an appropriate experience for their own safety.

Is it possible to return a rented car to any other place?

It is possible, however additional fees are applied in this case.

How long does it take to prepare all the required documentations for renting a car at ETS?

When the booking is made through www.etscars.com you are required to possess a valid driving license and passport/ID to provide express service. Therefore, After arriving at the car delivery site, all you need to do is sign a contact, pay and enjoy your car.

The conclusion of the Agreement takes from 5 to 10 minutes.

Are there any additional fees for delaying the return of the vehicle?

No additional fee is applied in case you are late up to one hour. After being late for the initial hour, 30 Gel is charged, whereas in case of exceeding two hours, the full day charge is applied.
